Other and the doctor are giants, not humans like the children in the game are. however the damage was already done from the wires and the doctor was never the same. The doctor had managed to overpower other in time and kill him. other had intended to absorb the being of the doctor and leave him as a hollowed husk, aching to add the doctor’s strength to his own. he attacked the doctor in his corrupted state, connecting the two with wires and flesh and came close to murdering the doctor. he was the one responsible for slaughtering a huge portion of the hospital’s staff in the signal tower’s attempt to remove the weak, only interested in keeping the strongest staff member(s) around for the job. he didn’t take much notice of his effect on those around him and simply proceeded with his work, still being extremely successful in his job. other had a no nonsense attitude to his work and his patients would’ve felt cornered and belittled from his lack of patience and ways of speaking. but because he was a very strict and forward man, lacking the underlying affection our doctor gave his patients. Other’s patients would’ve been afraid of him, and not just due to his size and odd appearance. even in this stage, the doctor and other’s tense working relationship still remains, however, this is still an improvement from before the transmission.

If he had survived the transmission, he and the doctor would’ve been the sole survivors of the staff. his great knowledge of a giant’s biology would prove to his advantage in certain circumstances. other was still a dangerous individual due to his intelligence and strength. like the doctor, he was a large and domineering man, however he was much colder and lacked empathy for both his patients and the people around him. Note nicknamed this viewer “lawrence”, the doctor still has some form of affection towards the viewers as formely they used to be in his care at the hospital.
He was discovered by the doctor yet again. he wasn’t sure what happened to the bodies, just that his own chances of escaping were minimal. clearly the doctor’s botched attempts at removing limbs to replace them with his own inventions. their limbs removed and tossed aside to decompose. You can imagine, how horrifying it was for him to discover what happened to the citizens would soon happen to him. one who meant well.ĭespite the gentle touch to his face, he would only end up like so many of his peers. one who simply wanted to warn the world of the horrors within the city. One unspecting viewer, who had left the city in hopes of finding a cure for his disfigurement still had a stable mind. he would continue to lose his mind on his lonesome as he stalked about for wandering viewers to be caught in his traps, more victims of his research.

however, he was still not free from the effects of the transmission. Here, he would’ve aimed to continue his research in solitude, conducting experiments regarding prosthetic limbs and subsitutes as creating a giant with a prosthetic body who could survive had not yet been achieved. it grew too dangerous for him to remain in the hospital around the remaining doctors and patients, forcing him to retreat.
however, times grew worse and his research kept hitting dead ends. The doctor would’ve once been the prime of pale city, striving to aid those who suffered under the influence of the tower. Little nightmares - the doctor as the hunter
